Sadly our band didn't make it to state this year. I have to say it was a hard loss since we had won Grand Champions the week before. However, the picture shows what a few of the boys in the band did before the competition to show spirit (Clint had better sense). Maybe the loss of hair reduced their strength and that's why they lost. hmmm.

Sorry about the loss. If it were me, I would just assume that the winning team bought all the judges. That sort of thinking always makes me feel better
That is the prevailing rumor. It's funny, I think the kids are taking it better than the parents. We (see there I go again), I mean, THEY compete again this weekend for the last time. It's been a good year.
Its the process that makes the kids better people, not the awards. Working together towards a common goal is a great life lesson. Sometimes losing helps us keep our perspective better than winning. At least it keeps us more humble...Humble is good. Harrison looks really good.
